But whether you’re single or taken on this day, we think there’s one thing you could really fall in love with – you guessed it, the arts! Start your weekend right and dance the night away on Valentine’s Day eve at New Britian Museum of American Art’s Museum after Dark then wake up bright and early for Second Saturday to discover the new Romare Bearden exhibit at the Wadsworth’s Amistad Center free of charge. Mark Twain fans will want to check out the production of Is He Dead at Little Theatre of Manchester and the Diaries of Adam and Eve at the Mark Twain House. Mark Twain’s ‘Is He Dead?’ [UA]

Where: Little Theatre of Manchester
Focusing on a fictional story of the great French painter, Jean-Francois Millet, who, with the help of his colleagues, fakes his death in order to increase the value of his paintings. The result is a great farce, skillfully adapted by Ives. This will be the first major Connecticut production of this play and is being produced in conjunction with the Mark Twain House and Museum’s Festival of Twain on Stage.
