At the Arts Council we’re always trying to come up with ways to engage the Greater Hartford community with the arts. One way we’re going to do that is with our first-ever pop-up art mixer complete with screen printing and pop art painting over food and drinks. Read below for more on the event, which takes places on September 3. For now, take a look at the headliners for this week, including Creative Cocktail Hour at Real Art Ways, the MAS costume exhibition, ghost tours at Mark Twain House, and the final free outdoor movie of the season from the City of Hartford. Summer may be coming to an abrupt close, but we’ve got a chock full of events coming up this fall. Stay up to date on our Facebook page.

Want a spot on our list? Submit your arts and cultural events to our calendar and we may just feature it.

When you see [UA] in the heading, it means the organization is supported by the contributions made to the Arts Council’s Annual United Arts Campaign.
