Everything You Need To Do In Hartford By July 29

The Graveyard at Mark Twain House

There’s no better way to get to know a city than to immerse yourself – we’re talking literally –  in its  food, art, culture, and heritage. And, with Taste of Hartford going on this week, there’s probably no better week to do just that. After nibbling your way through Hartford’s many scrumptious restaurants, treat yourself to birthday cake at Bushnell Park for the 100th celebration of the carousel. Then head over to Mark Twain House to get spooked by the haunted house tour (I hear it’s like a real life horror movie, people). Get a feel for local humor and idiosyncrasies at Sea Tea Improv’s free comedy show, and get your Monday night blues on with free local jazz at Bushnell Park. The City of Hartford wasn’t joking when they toted the phrase, “Hartford has it.” So, read on for more fun things to do – you have no excuse to stay inside this weekend!

When you see [UA] in the heading, it means the organization is supported by the contributions made to the Arts Council’s Annual United Arts Campaign.
